Across the study room, a stare is thrown
Eyes intense, to fervently probe
A peak excitement, an internal thrill
Only to realize that he was just staring at the window sill
A hand’s caress, made light to touch
A tingling feeling, I felt so much
A whispering sound then made to the ear
Only to spread a message to another who sat quite near
As he approaches, my heart races
My mind travelling to many places
He draws nearer, with smiling cheeks
Only to finally realize with his true love he meets
Moral of the Story: Not always should we truly validate all that we imagine and feel in our minds as very easily we can ourselves become trapped by the vicious cycle of those very thoughts and emotions.
Now, now. We have all heard the above- mentioned adage. However, this is much easier said than done. Really! Must we silently stew in the emotional torments of this life? I think not. Perhaps then, there is a better consideration. So, let’s take it up a notch.
I assert. Do use the inspiration with the resource of the emotional tension as your nidus to fuel your creative work or problem-solving activity and let the magic flow in this direction. For the timing is ripe. Grab your canvas, put on your tennis shoes, grab the pen. Go into your elemental state. Do what you must and stay there, while getting lost in the process of it all; completely surrendering the self to the moment while you work; as one becomes in sync with the rhythmic movements of his works.
In this way, one may convert something fluidly intangible and emotionally frustrating into something much more realistically tactile and abundantly satisfying that sufficiently meets with one’s true needs.
Do more. Think less. Keep it moving. Keep it flowing.
