Dear Lord, Yahweh God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob God of Israel Father Help me with my unbelief. You say that whatever we, your children, ask in prayer, once we believe, we will receive. I highlight belief to be so critical in shaping my prayer life. But I would also like to highlight how much your timing matters more to me than my own requests. Yet still, it is the time that may make someone lose belief in something. I ask You Father, how does one continue to believe when it seems like there is nothing more to believe in? For me, I find comfort in knowing that your timing is always on time and that You give your children good things and prepare them for eternal matters. You think little on how I may grumble when I see no sign, not even one sign in near sight. I am reminded that sometimes, You do answer. I am just looking for the answer in all the wrong places. Help me to stay focused on your Word which always points me in the way I should go. Let me not be distracted by temporary disturbances, but remember your Word, however fast or slow life goes. It is only through faith, that You help my unbelief. Removing the scales from my eyes, sharpening my vision to see what You see, thus further strengthening my belief. Only You can help strengthen my belief. This is what I ask of You. Dear Lord, In all circumstances, I put my trust in You. It goes further than how I may be feeling emotionally or physically. It goes past the human senses. By the power of your Holy Spirit, may I be overflowed with unshakeable hope and filled with effervescent joy and peace as I patiently and wilfully trust in You. May I not be tricked into thinking that just because I don’t see, I should not believe. But instead, I work really hard to live by faith and not by sight. Help me to stay aligned with your Word, Jesus Christ, and in that alignment can I say with confidence that your promises are sure and true and are not spoken in vain but must come to pass. The promises that You speak to your children through your prophets are not spoken in vain but must come to pass. For your Word says so and it does not go back to Him void. Help me to keep still that posture so that You can do a new thing in me. I thank You graciously, for the time that You give to me. I thank You graciously O Lord for your presence. Please be near me always , it is what I want most of all. I thank You in the midst of trials, that I be purged and get to experience more of your light. I thank You, O Lord, for remaining faithful. Please shower me with the blessings of unshakeable belief today, knowing that I can safely put my trust in You. I pray this in Jesus Name, thanking You Giving You all honour and glory and praise Almighty Father forever and ever HalleluYah. 06.07.23 |
