So, Abba asked me to kindly share the following. It is my prayer followed by verses. Now, I do share: Dear Lord, I am reminded that no longer the children of one generation have to bear and suffer the consequences of their ancestors. For your blood alone is the perfect sacrifice in the atonement of our sins and the sins of my ancestors. Your blood alone can break every chain or bond holding me back from receiving favour in your Holy Name. Help me to remember this always as I course through this life. Let me be constantly reminded of your unfailing love. Help me to believe that I am indeed under your Blood, which for me is my cover and shield. Help me to believe in your saving grace. Strengthen my belief in you as my Father. (Written on 12.06.23)
Hebrews 9 Verse 11 But now Christ has appeared as the high priest with regard to the good things of these new times. He passed through a sanctuary more noble and perfect, not made by hands, that is, not created. Verse 12 He did not take Himself with the blood of goats and bulls but his own blood, when He entered once and for all into this sanctuary after obtaining definitive redemption. Verse 13 If the sprinkling of people defiled by sin with the blood of goats and bulls or with the ashes of a heifer provides them with exterior cleanness and holiness, Verse 14 how much more will it be with the blood of Christ? He, moved by the eternal Spirit, offered Himself as an unblemished victim to God and his blood cleanses us from dead works, so that we may serve the living God.
Psalm 51 verse 1 Have mercy on me, O God, in your love. In your great compassion blot out my sin. verse 2Wash me thoroughly of my guilt; cleanse me of evil. verse 3 For I acknowledge my wrongdoings and have my sins ever in mind. verse 4 Against You alone have I sinned; What is evil in your sight I have done. You are right when You pass sentence and blameless in your judgement. verse 5 For I have been guilt-ridden from birth, a sinner from my mother’s womb. verse 6 I know You desire truth in the heart, teach me wisdom in my inmost being. verse 7 Cleanse me with hyssop and I shall be clean, wash me, I shall be whiter than snow. verse 8 Fill me with joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. verse 9 Turn your face always from my sins and blot out all my offenses. verse 10 Create in me, O God, a pure heart; give me a new and steadfast spirit. verse 11 Do not cast me out of your presence nor take your holy spirit from me. verse 12 Give me again the joy of your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit. verse 13 Then I will show wrongdoers your ways and sinners will return to you. verse 14 Deliver me, O God, from the guilt of blood, and of your justice I shall sing aloud. verse 15 O Lord, open my lips, and I will declare your praise. verse 16 You take not pleasure in sacrifice; were I to give a burnt offering, You would not delight in it. verse 17 O God, my sacrifice is a broken spirit; a contrite heart You will not despise. verse 18 Shower Zion with your favour: rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. verse 19 Then You will delight in fitting sacrifices, in burnt offerings and bulls offered on your altar.
Psalm 32 verse 1 Blessed is the one whose sin is forgiven, whose iniquity is wiped away. verse 2 Blessed are those in whom the Lord sees no guilt and in whose spirit is found no deceit. verse 3 When I kept my sin secret, my body wasted away, I was moaning all day long. verse 4 Your hand day and night lay heavy upon me; draining my strength, parching my heart as in the heat of a summer drought. verse 5 Then I made known to You my sin and uncovered before You my fault, saying to myself, “To the Lord I will now confess my wrong.” And You, You forgave my sin, You removed my guilt. verse 6 So let the faithful ones pray to You in time of distress; the overflowing waters will not reach them. verse 7 You are my refuge; You protect me from distress and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Deuteronomy 30 verse 19 Let the heavens and the earth listen, that they may be witnesses against you. I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore, choose life that you and your descendants may live.
