Dear Lord, I work to meditate upon your law. Guide me O Lord. Help me to stay in your way. That I be firmly seated in your court, Resting upon it both night and day. I listen for your Word, O Lord. Put breath into me, that I come to life. For my bone is dried up, my hope diminished. I say to myself, “I am cut off.” Fill me up with your Spirit that I be made whole and live. That my body may once again see all that thrives in the land of Carmel and Sharon. Lift me up O Most High, that I be resurrected in your life. Make flesh come upon me, covering my skin. For You are my God, O Most High. May I be made to flourish like a palm tree, like a cedar of Lebanon which You planted. Because of your Word and your instruction, may I be made as a well-watered garden. Though once parched, may I be made to rejoice and bloom in your love. That my roots be made strong, sent out by the stream and made to withstand the sun-scorched land. I have no fear of drought or famine, for I am made to bear fruit; fruit that lasts. My leaves do not wither but instead, remain evergreen. Whatever I do prospers, for You take me by the hand. For You are with me. May your sweetness be upon me O Lord. May You prosper the work of my hand. May I rest upon your fertile land that I eat of your fruit and enjoy in the fullness of your life and your love. I rest in your love, in the hope that I be nurtured in the vine of your life. All praises be unto your Holy Name. I pray this in Jesus Name, Amen. 25.07.23 |
