There is one truth and one truth only. In a kingdom of lies, there is no truth. How can it be? I mean, truly think about it. Searching for the truth is like chasing the wind. Good luck finding it. Many truths are mixed up with many lies. Can one spot the ‘not’?
Here is a fact: No one or no human, for that matter, has the WHOLE TRUTH and nothing but the truth, lest he be already dead. Yet still, each person carries with him some piece of the truth. Most persons are just not able to bear much truth. For them, it is just too painful.
It is for that one, then, in search of truth, to piece back the mirrors of his life that has been already broken, much like piecing back together the jigsaw puzzle of his life. When one starts to piece together those tiny fragments, mixing it with the word of life, it is only then he begins to see THE truth for himself.
Just as Christ’s body is scattered all over the world, so too, the truth is scattered throughout the earth. God’s Spirit decides, then, on what comes out of each one’s mouth. One must be careful, therefore, to not readily demolish or dismiss another speaker, but to truly listen to his words, gleaning from him specific lessons to be learnt.
No one can absolutely show you the truth. For many messages will be proclaimed. How does one know which way to go? This is the thing. The truth is an experience and must be REALIZED by that one who sees.
I say then, better to not wholeheartedly follow what a stranger’s mouth says, lest one be already deceived. Or worse; allowing another to become an idol or center-piece for his life. Let life lead you to where you are to go. For life already knows the answer that you are looking for.
