|| A Search for Happiness
One may hold in his heart as his main life objective or goal to be happy. We all strive to be in this state when we find ourselves in some of life’s darkest moments. Some may search for a specific formula or prescription that may perhaps dictate the art of reaching this state. But what exactly does it mean for someone to be happy in his life? How does he know that he has indeed, reached his destined state?
Happiness may carry different definitions, tones and outcomes for each and every single person. We all secretly house different desires and life passions in the heart and the mind. We cannot look at someone else and think that we too will reach that happy state once we achieve what has been already done by someone else.
We may climb the highest mountain, search the deepest sea, walk the longest road and yet still not find that happiness that we were so desperately searching for.
Before anything else, honesty with oneself plays the striking key to initiate the releasing process. But the real truth of the matter is that happiness only shows up when we stop searching for it. We just embrace the little moments, all that life offers; the good and the bad, the happy and the sad, as we do our very best to do all that we can do in the very moment that we have each day.
