|| The Writer's Dilemma
Flowing are the words that play out in the Writer’s mind. It is as though he hears a piece of diction; his telling voice, that instructs his hand to write. For what he may see or hear is as a script being played out in his mind. He has to his avail, the full range of human emotions to add texture and dimension to what he may see or hear being played out in his mind. The scenes so real in the mind of the writer, that he has strong memory to perfectly replicate all that he sees and hears through the words that he displays. He knows the main character. He can sense his pursuit in all his fullness. He can feel what he feels in all his senses. Indeed, it is as though it is real. Now, here is the plot twist. For in one world, the writer writes, bringing to life what he sees and hears from the invisible place from which he operates. Never though, for him, can there be the mixing of the two worlds.
For he lives in the theatrical prism of his mind, from which he can never truly escape. His attachment grows to all that is played out like a script forever in motion. It is from this place that his reality is expressed through his words but never can he truly experience the fullness of senses in the material tangibles of the world in which he lives. For his imagination spans greater than the small window of his life. In his mind, he sees love, and knows it and feels it, but never can it truly pierce the screen of his mind to enter into the realities of his outer world. Never can he touch and appreciate in the fullest sense in the outer world in which he lives, all that he can experience in his mind. For him, he can experience the greater depth of life without actually experiencing life at all and herein lies the confusing context of his world. For he treasures the imaginative experiences of his inner world, yet such that because of it, he can never reach his highest point in a world more tangible that circumscribes his outer reality.
This great disparity is what truly inspires him. That inescapable gravitational pull that moves him and drives him, with much passion to invite his outside world and what lies therein, to intimately see what he sees, exactly as he sees it. To share the thoughts that he hears, as his inner voice speaks. To bring to life, all that he can never truly experience in his outer world. Because for him, this will be the closest thing that he can do to soothingly, yet silently satisfy his desperate search to close the gap of disparity, thereby merging those two worlds to form his one reality.
