What is hope? The hopelessness of hope is what I find the funniest when I think of it.
I strive towards hope. Yes. If that is even such a thing. I take one step at a time, bit by bit. This gives me the most hope. For I don’t think about tomorrow. Neither do I ponder on what has already passed me. I just focus on my immediate next step. This gives me hope.
I make it my duty to _ wake up in the morning,
_ look in the mirror
_ and smile.
Letting myself know that today is indeed going to be a good day. I work for hope. I think hopeful thoughts all day long. For it is a new day. I no longer wait for the senses to tell me it is a good day. I know it is a good day. Because I speak it. So, it must be a good day. Hope. Practise hoping and you will see how much more there is to hope for.
Dear hope, I command that this day be filled with much of you To carry me step by step as I walk through This passage called time, stay by my side As the happening events coalesce and collide I command this day be a hopeful one To shine beautifully, so bright as the noonday sun.
