Many men may search for a hand in marriage. But of whom is the most fortunate of them all? The one who marries a woman of understanding; she understands him and is willing to help and support him. And if, by chance, she is kindly-spoken and gentle, he is the most fortunate of men. Selah! The flute and harp make fine music, but even more appreciated is a pleasant voice. Gracefulness and beauty delight the eye. Consider, my dear. A woman of character is her husband’s joy. Happy that husband who finds her. Selah! Like the sun rising over the mountains of the Lord, such is the enchantment of a good woman. His woman’s grace gladdens him. Long pause… So, my dear, fear not, for I am with you and I will be with you. I will look kindly on you. Rejoice, for my grace is with you. For I make a good wife as the best of gifts, reserved for those who fear me. Happy that man who finds such a wife; he will have a serene heart and a happy face. 27.05.24
