|| The Whole Piece
Sometimes, one may think to himself that he can go about living his entire life, being far removed from his authentic truth. One may think that he can escape the throes of life, if only he fakes it until he makes it. This could not be further from the truth. You see, the real truth is that the heart wants what it wants. The heart; the light bulb and navigation map of your very life.
Never can we truly escape all that is already written in the heart. It is from this space, we live, breathe, think and operate. Abandon it and we will surely die.
Most may think that to live a holy life, one must do things in a very pious way; to be piously good. This is not holy. What is wholly is expressing outwardly the things that one inwardly holds in the heart; a true representation of the self.
Cheat not the very self of your life. Rob it and life will catch up to you. It most certainly will. If we abandon the true act of the self, we have already lost the very meaning and purpose of our lives.
But life has it, that if, by chance, we are determined to stay on the wrong track, circumstances will certainly be brought in the play to rip apart, demolish and devour all that was never intended to be on the path, re-orienting the one back unto the track with a life they were always meant to live. Much like the life story of Jonah.
Be compassionate then, with your true self. It is from this place, that much life is gifted to you.
